I'm not sure what you mean by "equivalent "...the active drug in Suboxone is buprenorphine, which acts as only a partial-agonist on the receptors, meaning it doesn't produce the same kind of euphoria as full agonists like heroin or oxycodone would. There is also a ceiling effect of respiratory depression caused by buprenorphine, I believe the "maximum " effective dose cited by medical professionals is about 24mg, with higher doses having absolutely no benefit. What do you mean when you say you need more than usual? Are you being treated for opiate dependence and your dose isn't holding you, or are you trying to abuse them? If you are abusing them, don't waste your time, you're not going to catch the buzz you're looking for. Most of the overdose stories I've heard involving bupe have been cases of multiple drug intoxication, but still it's not smart to play around with hard drugs in any situation. |
