Another suboxone question?
I've been on 3 suboxone for two years. They are switching my insurance to medicare because I'm disabled. I think I'm gonna have to give up the subs. If I have a bunch, whats the best way to wean down? Give me a chart please. Like 2 a day for a week, then 1 1 2 a day for a week, then 1 a day for a weeek, then half a day for a week, then quarter a day for a week, then quarter every other day for a week, then done? sound good? I don't want withdrawals. I've been through them so many times. They are switching me to medicare june first. I am so scared. Does anyone know if any part D coverage covers suboxone? I'll cut down, but I don't wanna give it up. I'm so scared. The government is changing my insurance, and its like a blindside. I cant even pick a medicare prescription plan till may 1st. My Masshealth paid for everything. I don't get it. I've robbed pharmacy's, I've pickpocketed, I'm a menace to society when I'm getting high. It's in the government's best interest to keep me on suboxone. It's like a mirical. I dont crave. I dont get high. I am stable, and now they want to f me up. My doctor and insurance came up with a medical option for me. I never I repeat never feel high. Never ever ever ever. I hope you feel good trying to knock people down. How am I even thinking straight on such a whopping dose. I used to shoot up 5 80mg oxy every day for years. I tried one suboxone and still had cravings. Went to two and still had cravings. Went to three which the insurance pays for so it must be a safe dose and I have no cravings. I'm stable. I live life. I'm engaged. I take care of everything. I don't need someone like Lone to come and knock me down. I will stand up for myself. It is not too high a dose for ME. see its different for everyone. If 3 a day was bad then ins wouldn't pay. I quit narcotic painkillers back in Nov. I have been taking suboxone that i get from a friend.?
I tried to get a Doctor to prescribe me them, but he said i have to attend weekly meetings. Long story short the support meetings that I have to attend are over an hour away, and with work I cant attend those classes. I want to get off them completely and i can get enough to taper myself. I just need advice how to do it? How much to taper each day or week. Any advice would be great.. thank you for the help in advance.

I'm 23 and have been battling with opiate addiction for yrs. now I've been to detox,rehab,methadone clinic,jail and I ALWAYS end up going back to drugs.The past couple mos.I have been doing at min 80 mg a day injected .I dont want to go to the methadone clinic or subuxone clinic,so a friend told me to get some suboxone and taper off myself..Any suggestions on how to do this with the least amout of w d's would be highly appreciated...Thank You

I have been taking suboxone since Nov 09, i started taking 8mg.?
I am now down to about 2 to 3 mg a day. Today is my last day for 2 mg, im going to go down to 1 1 2 mg tomorrow and for the rest of the week. I took 5 days off starting Monday March 1 to go through the withdraw. My question is, will i have a bad W D, what can i expect? I would appreciate any advice..What can i do to prepare myself? Been on suboxone 2wks, relapsed yesterday, i go 2 dr. on monday. will it be in my urine? will she drop me?
Im so ashamed and scared. I dont know if I should try to flush my system dont even know if that really works or just be honest and tell her.. I snorted 120mgs of roxycotin.. I know its alot but I couldnt feel it So I guess the subx is doing its job but anyway I cant believe i done it.. its not worth this worring. Any Feedback? thanks

Suboxone and Oxycodone?
Okay so I'll start off telling you what I'm doing. I'm addicted to opiates, not that bad, maybe 10 30mg of oxycodone a day, I haven't had anything in 72 hours, I have withdrawls, very very very very slight withdrawls compared to other opiate addicts . I just felt depressed and wanted a pill, not like hardcore fiending calling everyone I know, but there was a craving there. I'm 22 years old, got in a bad motorcycle accident 5 years ago, torn achillis tendon, torn labrum in my hip, shattered foot bones, heel broke in 3 places, back pain etc etc. I've had 3 surgeries because of it, I AM in pain almost constantly. Yes I am an addict so I do take them to feel good but I also take them because I have chronic pain. Why don't I get something prescribed? Long story short, if you're a young man with pain, doctors automatically assume you're just jonesing for pain killers. I took 1 suboxone 8mg at 5pm off my buddy who is a recovering addict, it has 100 % effectively KILLED ANY withdrawl symptoms I have, but it has not done ANYTHING for my pain. I have a 30mg oxycodone left. Pretty much I want to know if I take the oxycodone around 12 2am when I get ready for bed , will it effectively kill my pain, or will the buprenorphine in the suboxone still be bound to the opiate receptors in my brain? If you do not have a straight answer, do not reply. If you are going to lecture me on the dangers of opiates, do not reply. I appreciate the help.

After Suboxone treatment is over?
Has anyone been off of suboxone for awhile and NOT felt better? I did so well when on the program, but when they cut me off gradually...but still I wasn't ready I felf like I was back to where I started. I never took pain pills to get f ed up, just to FEEL better. It was the only way to not feel depressed and anxious all the time. I'm on 120mg cymbalta now, and I really don't know if it's helped any....there are times I think it does a little, but not much. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.....I KNOW I would feel better if I started to exercise, it's just getting started I guess.that should have said felt, not felf sorry I wrote this quickly thanks Lone I saw a post there that said the brain doesn't heal while on suboxone I thought it was just me, but coming off of suboxone isn't different than the other drugs

I was addicted to opiates for many years,even heroin..all starting when i was a young teen.experimenting soon turned to additcion,etc..one traumatic thing after another also..but i have been taking suboxone for over a year now,jus moved to san jose .its like i was given a second chance at life,n i dont wanna mess it all up again...i do not have medical insurance.I was getting them from a close family member who did have insurance and has gone thru the addiction n sobriety process the exact same time as me . kiss my ass this has nothing to do with it all I dont know where to turn.family dont have a clue to the whole ordeal.I originally moved out here to get away from all the drugs,was impossible to do so living in my hometown in ohio,mofo shit is everywhere.ive done the a.a. n.a. approach,didnt do shit for me 6 months 7 days a week .half the ppl in them rooms were liars and still smokin crack ,whatever.so what i need to know is how do i approach this in a new town,with limited resources.Suboxone is the only thing that has worked for me...seems like there was more to write on here,cant even think straight........." lost& dying in the sun"

Is anyone on or have ever been on SUBOXONE?
I am addicted to optiate pain medication and am no longer being prescribed them. Now I have resorted to buying them. I cannot live this way any longer I know its expensive to do this program but I would spend more money buying the pain meds. I want to know if it is really worth it, does it really help? Also, do you get any kind of high on these pills? Does it help with pain? I was in a car accident and severly damaged my leg. Also, can you explain to me the whole process? Do they make you do counseling? drug test you? count your pills?Any information you can give me I would appreciate. I just need some advise as to whether or not to move ahead with this. I dont want to spend the $2000 dollars if it isnt really worth it.Would you recomend suboxone or methadone? Also, do health insurnace companies cover the treatment, or at least cover the pills?
