Unless you have a LOT of opiates in your system, you should have no detectable amounts after about 5 days to a week. That's assuming you are otherwise in reasonably good health. Opiates are processed by your liver, and if you have liver problems, it can take longer to eliminate them. If the amount is small, they will essentially be cleared out in about 3 days. Note however, that hair samples can detect drugs from the time the hair initially grew. Once it gets into a hair strand, it stays there until the hair is cut. But your liver will eliminate drugs from the rest of your system pretty quickly.

Trace amounts of any drug can stay in your system for months. So if you've got a drug test coming up, good luck with that.
