Opiate Withdrawal: Methadone & Heroin Facts

Question: Opiate withdrawal question! please help before they start!?

I'm about to go through opiate withdrawals again after relapsing, I've been taking up to five 10mg percocets a day for about 2 in a half weeks, now its time for me to get off of them again and this time my plan is when i get down to only having 10 pills left i will cut myself down to one a day which would last me 10 days. My question is if i do this will it keep my withdrawals at a minimum and not as bad as last time when i had to go cold turkey? And mainly when that 10th day comes will the withdrawals be gone or will i still have to deal with some W/ D symptoms? Please if you don't intend on answering this question do not post anything such as "you shouldn't even be taking pills " or "Go to your doctor " I've heard all this before and trust me I'm more than aware that taking pills is wrong and dangerous! So don't even think about posting a comment if it's not an answer to the question I Posted. I'm not asking "what to do " I'm asking will my plan work.

You should be fine doing it that way because you still have opiates in your system. 5 a day is not that bad. the hardest part will be to only take 1 per day. just remember how hard it is going through withdrawls. you can do it. one per day. best of luck

My dad was on percocets for his knea after he had knea surgery. just stick to one a day and when your down to five only take a half a day until they're all gone. thats what my dad did and he didnt have any problems with it or anything!
