Will Tramadol help my painful opiate withdrawal?
I am getting off of Vicodin and I am starting to go through withdrawal. I read that Tramadol helps ween people off other pain killers such as Vicodin. I am also concerned about the possiblity of seizures. I've read Tramadol can cause seizures. I have never had a seizure though and I took Tramaol for 20 days about a year ago & never had a seizure from it. Has anyone been in this same situation I'm in? Withdrawal and taking Tramadol to ease it? No I cannot go to a doc at this time. No money, no insurance so I cant just walk into a hospital or doc office at this time. So that isn't an option for me. I just need some good advice and hopefully from someone with experience. Thank you so much. Help and answers will be much appreciated.

Why do people vomit during opiate withdrawal?
it feels like the body is trying to expel alien toxins, but if that were the case wouldn't the body have tried to expel them long before trying to quit?or is the mechanism due to something else entirely?

I decided to help a family member get off drugs. He is a type I diabetic and middle aged with other health problems so that makes it more difficult. My doctore said he would rescribe me a benzo for the anxiety and other withdrawal symptoms i'm going to get when I stop taking my oxycodone. I've been being scripted 120 OxyContin 80mg tabs and 60 Roxicodone 30mg tabs a month for the past year and I took all of them every month, so I have a pretty hardcore opiate dependency. I am finally able to stop the pain medication so he lowered my dose to OxyConitn 80mg once a day even though I have no pain its just to ween me off. He also said I will need a benzo for the withdrawal so he gave me a choice between Xanax 2mg and Valium 10mg. Which is better for masking the withdrawal symptoms of opiate use?

Ive been on pain killers for so long since 2005 been on them ever since 3 surgeries i still have alot of pain plus i have MRSA infection been on so many anti biotics. But do you still have the anxity the down feelings when do you start producing your own dopamine what can you take to start your brain functioning right. Is depression and anxiety part of opiate withdrawal?
I was taking oxycodone and hydrocodone for about six months virtually everyday and about on avg 5 7.5 hydrocodone a day and then the oxycodone every now and then when it was available..... the oxycodone were roxicet 30 mg. I ran out of my oxycodone about three or four days ago and it was about 8 or 9 hours after I just broke down and cried... and have cried prolly a couple times a day since then. I also have trouble breathing, but I smoke marijuana so yeah...... I need feedbaack. Thank you.
