My friend is not doing well, he is trying his best to kick methadone, is there any home remedys for his illness?

Nothing at home! if there is headaches, or any aches, motrin for that, and as severe as it can get, this friend of yours should seek med.attn. especially if the heart-rate goes way up or way down!! aka: THE PULSE...be careful with doing this alone.! it can kill a person.! there are medications to help...but prescribed only..

No. He needs a doctor or a clinic that specializes in withdrawal. If he has no money, have him contact the community health people. In the meantime, if he gets jittery, try a spoonful of refined sugar. I read that somewhere. It might help. It won't hurt unless he is diabetic.
