Daughter overdosing on heroin?
Okay i asked a question abit ago that i thought my 17 yr old daughter was on heroin.Turns out i was right, i had a phone call on saturday night from her, she was in hospital had been taken in an ambulance due to her junkie boyfriend injecting her and she over dosed, she nearrly died according to the paramedic.She also admitted to smoking, marijuanna, crack cocaine, heroin... but she said thats the first time trying to inject it... thats why her " Boyfriend" who i told her to stay away from did it for her.She has told me she wont do it again as it scared her, i said im not letting her out of the house without me there. also that she is not to contact him again.. i dont trust her one bit, i dont know what to do anymore... not sure where to turn next.. the police have spoken to her and everythin she swears she is not an addict.. nobody believed her... but i don't know..

The person I love relapsed a few weeks back after a year and some of being clean. The reason he got clean the 1st time was because one of his best friends overdosed a day after xmas... Him and his 3 neighbors who are all the same age and were all best friends...are addicts. Not only them but heroin is everywhere in this town. I really need some advice to figure out what would be the best situation for him. He wants to get the help, so that's the important thing. He has no health insurance btw. What to do with heroin addicted loved one?
My boyfriend has been doing heroin off and on for a year. He's been lying to everyone and continuing to use. I gave him the ultimatum today, rehab or never speak to me again... He didn't choose rehab. His brother, who he lives with has cut him off, I have cut him off, all of his friends that aren't using have cut him off, but his parents continue to support him by paying for his cell phone, car, insurance, rent, school tuition and paycheck. We have all gone to them, pleading that they cut him off, as they are the last support system he has that is letting him continue to use. They refuse and say that it is their responsibility to pay for all of his things and are admitting that he is using heroin but that he needs to figure out how to quit himself. What do you suggest the people who care about him do? I have already cut him off and refuse to speak with him, I have pleaded with his parents to quit enabling and they continue to do so? Is there any other choice or just move on with my life?

I see a lot of homeless people who appear to be either on drugs or mentally insane in Newark Penn Station, New York Penn Station, on the subway, in Port Authority and on the streets, but I can't always tell who is who. i found drugs in my brothers bedroom and do not know what this is, it is in a regular dime baggy and it looks like cocaine, but has a very potent smell.
