Okay so I've been wondering this for ages because I use to do a paper round in a really bad area which was full of junkies, the place is knowing for how many people inject heroin. But even all over UK junkies look the same. I don't know if this question sounds really stupid lol. I'm meaning is there any major reason why they all end up looking the same?

methadone pills and syringes Methadone is a synthetic opioid used medically as a painkiller, but also to treat patients on opioids such as heroin.

Basically, for an addict the heroin becomes the center of their lives. Above food, water, sex, bathing, etc. They tend to look malnourished, skinny, dirty... I was a paramedic in the US for many years. It's the same over here.
