Question: Are these signs of a heroin user?

I believe my brother has become a heroin addict. He'll be gone all day and when he does come back he'll be very talkative but he doesnt make any sense. Then he will slowly begin to nod off and drool. He acts weird and makes messes. And his emotions are very unstable. He'll be almost crying then screaming the next. But then begin to pass out again. Are these signs of a heroin user? And if so, how can I help him? I try to let him know im here for him and I only want him to get better. Sometimes it gets very hard but im trying. Should I tell my parents? We cant really afford any kind of help, so is there anything I can do?

Im afraid so , have him locked up before he robs your family blind .

These symptoms are more typical of a Meth or Crack user; I'm not sure why you seem to think it is Heroin specifically. You should seek help; there are places that offer such help for free. But before you can do that, you need to confront your brother with your thoughts.

It seems like your brother is a drug user. Many drugs could be causing this. He could also be schizophrenic. You should tell your parents and a doctor. There are special help centers and associations for drugs addicts. I beleive you doctor will guide him towards one of them.

If you want to know more watch intervention on a &e and at the end of the show it should say if you know an addict or belive someone is go to there site at intervention a &e and the shows commercial has passages malibu stuff so yeah watch the show see what its like and guess what your brothers doing and yeah hopes he gets better XD
