Question: What are some of the long term side effects of heroin?

I know the main concern with heroin is that it's apparently extremely addictive, however I think I can handle it. What are the long term effects on the BODY? Remember, not short term and not mental. I can't really find anything bad about it on the net. And please no drugs are bad lectures. So what, does heroin itself have no negative physical side effects? All the negatives are from unsafe usage with needles.

Drugs are awesome. I personal love drugs. But after a while it fucks with your mind. Plus its very expensive. I had to quit. I'm sad.
