Depends on the type of medication... herion is an opiate... Vicoden, Codeine, morphine, and demerol (which are all common pain killers) are also opiates so yes, they are related to heroin.... Yes, many pain pill are addictive and have horrible withdrawals.. many people have to go to rehab to be able to stop taking them.... You can not tell which drug someone is taking......... Thumbs down all you like but everything I said can easily be confirmed by just doing a little research on the internet........ People who thumbs down easily verifiable facts piss me off. |

Heroin converts to morphine so it has the same effect as some pain pills, but the dose is normally much higher with people who abuse heroin. |

Yes, Heroin is an opiate and their are several pain killers that are very similar. Oxycontin, Morphine, and many others will have some of the same withdraws that heroin junkies have. They are very addicting to the body. |
