Question: Two days ago, me and a friend decided to try heroin for the first time.?

I know it was a horrible decision, but now my vein is red running from the needle point up my arm, it hurts quite a bit. should i see a doctor? what could this be?

It's an infection, you will need to go to the doctor and get antibiotic for yourself

Yeah you should see a doctor but is there anyone you know who's good with medical stuff ? you could get in a lot of trouble for doing heroin and yu myt get your yahoo account shut down. but i wont report you :) x

Yeah bad decision, heroin is extremely addictive but as far as your arm, there's a chance that you introduced bacteria into your vein and that it is now infected. I would recommend seeing a doctor. Bacteria infections left untreated can do some serious damage. plus, if you're worried, you cannot get into trouble over heroin post use so don't be afraid if the doctor will report you

Yes. It could be a collapsed vein, could be herpes, could be AIDS, could be Hep C.... man you could die, or not. But, maybe you will just stick to weed... and not be a complete fool "trying " stuff that will kill you the first go around. How about that?

You're having phlebitis: the swelling/ inflammation of the vein. See a doctor because it may turn into gangrene. Could also be an infection. Either way, see a doctor. I don't think it's a hematoma, b/ c hematomas are black and blue, not red.

See a doctor, you could be in serious trouble IE STD, massive infection, blood clots, could loose your arm. I am an understanding person and hope you know that I do not think you are dumb for trying heroin (I use it myself), I think you made a mistake by injecting it the first time you used it. You should have smoked or snorted it and enjoyed it that way before moving on to injecting. Is heroin addictive? Yes of Course, will it cause you to commit crimes and rob people? No, only if you are a bad person in the first place. You wanted to get high and try something new, you did and you messed up. Go to the doctor, get tested and treated and then if you want to use heroin then please snort it, if you insist on injecting for the love of god learn to do it right! Don't share needles or the water used to cook the heroin.
