Why do people who take heroin all look the same(mostly)?
Okay so I've been wondering this for ages because I use to do a paper round in a really bad area which was full of junkies, the place is knowing for how many people inject heroin. But even all over UK junkies look the same. I don't know if this question sounds really stupid lol. I'm meaning is there any major reason why they all end up looking the same?

Recovering heroin addict, why do i feel this way?
I will be clean 1 year on January 26 this year. I was addicted to heroin for 2 years. To help me stay clean I need to watch drug shows like intervention and drugs inc. Its hard to describe how it helps me but it really does. For some reason, when the shows are particularly about heroin I find myself being overcome with a terrible headache and I feel sick to my stomach and I get that knot in your throat, like before you need to throw up. Anyone have any clue why this is???

I'd like to know how to get through to a meth and heroin addict, so that I might help them?
I never used anything myself, but I fell in love with a woman who suffers from serious addictions to the above and more. Of course I didn't know all this at the time. Meth and oxycontin are her favorites though. Anyway, like any drug addict she used me up in every way, then went back to her junkie ex and began to slander me to the world, eventually cutting contact outright. She's since burned every bridge with everyone she knows and is effectively homeless with her fellow junkie and her kids.I do know that she wants to be clean but after a decade and a half of using, she simply can't do it without the right kind of help. Before anything, I need advice on getting through to her. If I can manage that, I'll need to know how best to help her.P.S. I do want her back but not before she's been clean and single for at least a year. There's a lot of damage there and doing what can be done to fix that comes first. I just want to help the woman I love.

Are these signs of a heroin user?
I believe my brother has become a heroin addict. He'll be gone all day and when he does come back he'll be very talkative but he doesnt make any sense. Then he will slowly begin to nod off and drool. He acts weird and makes messes. And his emotions are very unstable. He'll be almost crying then screaming the next. But then begin to pass out again. Are these signs of a heroin user? And if so, how can I help him? I try to let him know im here for him and I only want him to get better. Sometimes it gets very hard but im trying. Should I tell my parents? We cant really afford any kind of help, so is there anything I can do?

Ok so I've been using roxys roxycodone basically oxycontin for a few months now and sometimes heroin because its cheaper and lasts longer but I REALLY want to quit, im sick of this drug, im scared i spent too much money on this and I might get my new car reposessed and I owe taxes, and im in school trying to study, and i cant make any plans because im afraid i'll be out of drugs and I'll be in withdrawal mode. ITS SCARY dont ever do opiatess. But can anyone please help me come up with a good taper down plan to minimize withdrawal effects? I use about a half or 2 3 of herion a day, how can i taper down, how long, etc? please i beggggg anyone, and i appreciate it if you can help. Thank you so much, I'll be checking for answers ASAP.

Heroin and crack addict?
I'm supporting a heroin and crack addict since 7 7 10. Shortly after she moved into my apartment she asked me for help, money for her drug problems. I didn't know that once it starts it doesn't stop. Every day for the longest time she's treating me like garbage and threatening me to give her money. Everybody told me get her out. I was told that since she's living in my apartment for over a month she has tenants rights according to New York City law. I was also told I have to get an eviction form fill it out get it notorised and take it to court then get her out. I didn't give her a lease and she doesn't pay rent. Can I evict her without an eviction form? Please help me. She driving me crazy every day.
