Subutex is designed to stave off the pains of withdrawing from heroin, but as for the initial dosage then it will depend on your current tolerance to Heroin. Also, timing plays an important role with Subutex. E.G If you are coming off Heroin you should take around 8 hours after your last dose (when the levels are low) but if you are on Methadone, its between 24-36 hours i think, something like that. If you are seriously considering kicking heroin with Subutex you should do it through a program so that they can monitor your doses and provide a steady script. If you are only considering taking them to stop the pains of withdrawing whilst you're a bit skint and plan to take Heroin anyway, don't. If you take Subutex on top of Heroin it could make you feel ill and start withdrawing, but there would be no point anyway as it blocks the effects of Heroin. |
