Question: Is it true that vitamin c can curb heroin withdrawal symptoms substantially?

I have this reference like book called “The Complete Book of Vitamins� It goes through hundreds of ailments and vitamin cures for them, etc. It claims some remarkable results detoxing heroin addicts with large doses of vitamin c. Being an addict I think this sounds to good to be true. Has anyone else heard such a thing?

If it sounds too good to be true...Sorry, but no, it isn't true. There have been studies of this conducted at Columbia/ Cornell Med, at Rutgers, at Emory University, at N.I.H. and even at the US Army Institute of Surgical Research in San Antonio.

The trick to any withdraw is water. anything else is false. other folks claim going to a clinic to get meth is a cure to addiction, however, addiction to meth is still an addiction.
