I`m in uk and here they give help free of charge. Good on you getting help - hope someone replies with the answer you need. x

Nothing in this life is free..the only thing I can think of is committ a crime and go to jail...free detox there!

Get arrested for Herion Use. They may plea-bargain you to a treatment center..... Nasty habit by the way.

Go to a church. Ask someone who works there if they have an AA (alcoholics anonymous) meetings list. Go to the closest AA meeting as quickly as possible, and ask everyone you see there where the closest detox is. Explain to these people that you need a ride to the detox after the meeting. somebody's sponsor will think its a good idea to make someone drive you there as part of their therapy. when you arrive go in and beg for a bed. when i went, they had no room, so i sat on the bench just outside the door until they MADE room for me. sometimes thats what you have to do. Just don't take NO for an answer. they all have cots and hallways. good luck.

Hospitals, Church's, there has to be an AA center near you, they all have a means for you to enter a program and be treated.
