Not really. It could calm you down for awhile but there are so many other factors involved in withdrawing. Your body goes through alot. If best, go to a rehab.

It depends on what kind of drugs (example- caffeine based, amphetamine,etc.) I would recommend that if you are talking about addiction, beers will not help you in the long run. Go to a rehab if possible.
