Question: How long before drug withdrawal symptoms begin?

How many days or hours when you come off a drug do you start to get withdrawal symptoms? Also, what happens when you go to detox? DXM, dextromethorphan

Like when the time comes you usually take it you will get them then, I dunno what happens when you go to Rehab but I think they ease you off it.

Depends on the drug, how long they have been addicted, and how much they normally take in one dose a heroin addict, for instance, can potentially start feeling withdrawals 6 to 8 hours after their last injection at detox they will give you medication to practically knock you out, so your body can withdraw without you having to feel the pain and sickness. you will spend 5 to 7 days in detox, depending on how long your body takes to flush out the drugs afterwards you go to rehab. rehab sucks.

You will feel sick to your stomach and then when you go into detox same but it will get better after a week

To give a precise answer to your question we should know what kind of drug are you referring to. But please, don't get scared, seek help from the people close to you and go to some anonymous counseling center. Keep going and never look back! You can make it!
