Question: Anyone know how to cope with prescription drug withdrawal?

I think that might depend on the type of medication you have been taking. If you are talking about something like sleeping pills, I'd probably have to say you will just have a few sleepless nights before your body adjusts and your normal sleep patterns take over. What other type of medication are you talking about?

Go to your doctor and ask for serious medical help...if you don't get help, you could get very sick, whether it was from recreational use or prescribed. good luck.

It really does depend on the medication. More importantly you need to seek medical attention before attempting to go off of your prescription. If you are already going through withdrawal, please get yourself some medical attention. DO NOT feel embarassed or too ashamed to get help. You can not do this on your own. You didn't mention what drug you were withdrawing from - so here goes. You never quit cold turkey from any addictive drug. You must whiny yourself off the drug. You do this by cutting down each week. Depending how the drug was prescribed, bid, tid, prn. each day. If you were to take the drug three times a day then cut down to two a day and so on and so on. You really should ask your physician tho. PLEASE
