Should I phone for an ambulance / go to hospital - drug withdrawal - help?
Im considering driving to my local hospital because earlier and now, i keep freaking out. Im wondering if its because i took ecstasy about 2 3 months ago. I keep getting really confused as to whats going on, my face tightens up, and i get paranoid, my heart was racing big time, time seems to go faster, and basically i was really paranoid. Its like I had taken ecstasy. I guess these could be withdrawal symptoms. alot of major changes have happend recently in my life, but maybe its a combination ? i basically got really confused as to where i was, what i was doing etc.....yeh i did have a bad high when i took it, it thought i was going to die at one point...... but that was when i was getting the rushes

Anyway, 8 month ago I started taking a drug to help my sleep. It was bad and interrupted. And on my first night I slept for 8 hours, I felt fresh, I'd go to gym. Now I built up a resistance and I stopped taking it. To make things worse I also have a flu right now. It was bad, now I just have a cough. Anyway, I stopped taking my drug and I think I became very very very irritable. Like I can snap over a minor thing. Also I can barely get 30 min of sleep per night. I don't want to go to a doctor because he'll just prescribe some other crap. My personal opinion that good diet and good workouts will heal everything.So should I just suck it up, not sleep for a couple days, turn my phone off and take a break from all the crap in my life. Take a yoga class or something.

i cant tell if my b f is bipolar or if he does drugs. it seems like everytime he goes out for hours on end...about 2 days later he is super nasty and mean to me. he snaps out about stupid meaningless things like what topping I want to get on my pizza just an example . i am trying to figure out if maybe he is having drug withdrawal or he has a mental disorder. i know that he has done drugs speed, crack, crank coke in the past but don't know if he still uses. if i ask i know he will say " No" whether he does or not. what are your thoughts?

i havent gone to a doctor, or been to rehab or anything for it, but its obvious enough to know im going through withdrawals.im all out of the stuff i used to " overuse" i guess, nyquil, just an average cold medicine that has a large alchohol level in it... and i havent been able to sleep anymore, i get super sleepy then im wide awake. last night, at around 12 i started panicking, pacing back and forth, having trouble breathing, feeling suffocated, feeling like my body was on fire,fast and unsual heartbeat. i didnt know what to do, i felt like i was going crazy. i felt like i was in a dream, like i coudlnt really feel anything if that makes any sense.whats something immediate i could do during a withdrawal? last night i just tried to relax, my pet cat snuggled up in my lap while i was sobbing, and i fell asleep later.heeellp? btw, im 14, turning 15 next month.i had 2 yesterday, when i had the first one, i had to resort back to cutting.im not proud, but i dont know what to do.without the nyquil, i cant sleep.i havent slept properly or had more sleep than 5 hours in weeks now, and its taking its toll on me.& that ties in with the tylenol pills i used to take pretty often...but ive cut down to only using them twice a week.

Okay, so I'm writing for a character whose addicted to the drug Dilaudid, also known as Hydromorphone hydrochloride. He's currently experiencing the symptoms of withdrawal due to the effort to quit said drug. In the city he is in, advanced medical help is not available.What would happen after he is taking to the hospital with the withdrawal symptoms? Would he continue to have them, until they stopped? Sleep disorder or drug withdrawal?
know a girl who has started just falling asleep randomly. i understand being tired and falling asleep when you sit down or something, but i've never seen someone fall asleep twice in the process of trying to take a drink. or falling asleep standing up while holding a screaming baby. i want to help her but first i need to know what's going on with her. any ideas? if it helps, she's 21 and she's been through rehab once for pills.

If you're taking let's say either xanax, valium, ativan, klonopin, and you start to withdraw from them, considering ur dependent on them....and lets say you take ANOTHER different drug, but in the same class,...will that DO anything, or is your body strictly specifically addicted to that one particular chemical and the others really won't help at all?If you run out of valium and are addicted to it....will taking xanax or klonopin or ativan help at all?And vice versa?exactly how " strict" is drug withdrawal?I've heard some stories of how if you are a heroin addictict or an alcholic, how certain drugs can help with the withdrawals like valium, etc.

I recently stopped taking an anti depressant zoloft because it made me feel awful. The withdrawal is difficult, but I decided to quit it cold turkey. At the same time, when I came home today, my mother yelled at me for being over weight and is making me monitor everything I do, which is very stressful for me, because of withdrawal and lack of mental stability.I really don't know what to do. It wouldn't be as big of a deal if I wasn't dealing with one or the other, but I am at the same time, and I don't know how to cope.I have been taking zoloft for about a year. I recently upped my dose, but I felt really awful, and entirely unstable with the new dosage, so I stopped all together.
